Terms of Service — English reference

Gamine is a service for organizing and sharing games, assets, reviews, development progress, recruitment, and relationships connected to game creation.

By using Gamine, users agree to the Japanese Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Privacy Policy, and other operating rules. Gamine is currently in beta; features, displays, specifications, storage formats, conditions, and published information may change, be added, suspended, or removed.

Signed-in users may submit public feedback under their displayed name or with an anonymous public label. Anonymous display does not sever the internal link to the account, which is retained for abuse prevention, one-person actions, withdrawal, and moderation.

Other users may react with agree, neutral, or disagree. These reactions inform the operator but are not a vote that guarantees implementation, priority, or timing. The operator may review, merge duplicates, mark a suggestion out of scope, turn it into an improvement card, or hide it.

The board is not an emergency or private-support channel. Do not post personal information, account-specific issues, rights-infringement evidence, or undisclosed security vulnerabilities there.

Keep registration information reasonably accurate and current. Accounts may not be transferred, lent, shared, sold, or used to evade restrictions.

Google, GitHub, Discord, and email providers have their own terms and privacy policies. Changes, outages, or suspension by those providers may affect access to Gamine.

Protect the provider account, email account, device, verification codes, and sign-in links used for authentication. Secure the provider account first and contact Gamine promptly if you notice unauthorized use. Sign out after using a shared device.

Only post content you own or are authorized to share. The user who posts content is responsible for its accuracy, rights, licenses, external links, distributed files, safety, age restrictions, content warnings, generative-AI disclosure, and credits.

The Community Guidelines provide the detailed posting standards and form part of these terms.

Copyright and other rights generally remain with the user or lawful rights holder. Users grant the operator a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license limited to what is reasonably needed to provide, display, distribute, store, search, list, introduce, moderate, improve, back up, and recover the service.

This license does not transfer ownership of the content to Gamine.

Rights in the Gamine name, logo, original text, interface design, software, database, and other service elements belong to the operator or lawful rights holders. Open-source software and third-party materials remain subject to their own licenses.

Asset authors should clearly state commercial-use, modification, redistribution, credit, and prohibited-use conditions. Anyone using an asset must check and follow those conditions.

Authors distributing generative-AI-assisted assets must separately confirm that the service or model terms permit distribution under the license they offer. Listing an asset on Gamine is not a guarantee by Gamine of its rights, safety, quality, or license validity.

Participants should agree on scope, schedule, compensation, payment, ownership, permitted uses, credit, communication, and what happens if work ends early.

External stores and distribution services apply their own payment, refund, and download rules. Gamine provides a place to share information; it is not a party to contracts, employment, payments, delivery, quality guarantees, or dispute resolution between users.

Apply an age restriction when content is unsuitable for minors, and use content-warning labels and notes for material that people may reasonably want to know about before viewing.

Intentionally omitting or misleading users about a required restriction or warning is prohibited.

Disclose meaningful generated output that remains in the game or asset, including images, music, voice, text, translation, 3D models, or runtime generation. Proofreading, ideation, and ordinary code completion generally do not require disclosure when generated expression does not remain in what users receive.

The label is informational. It is not a guarantee or evaluation of rights, permission, quality, safety, or originality. Missing or inaccurate disclosures may first lead to clarification or correction; repeated intentional misrepresentation may lead to moderation.

• Impersonation or intentionally false claims about authorship, achievements, compatibility, reviews, or distribution terms
• Harassment, threats, doxxing, discriminatory abuse, or incitement to violence
• Instructions or tools intended to enable real-world harm, crime, credential theft, malware, phishing, or unauthorized access
• Spam, deceptive promotion, fabricated recruitment, or exploitative solicitation
• Manipulating reviews, reactions, reports, recruitment, or moderation systems
• Intentionally omitting required age, warning, or generative-AI disclosures
• Reposting removed material or evading account restrictions

Users may report guideline violations, rights issues, dangerous posts, missing disclosures, and harassment through the relevant report feature or designated contact method.

Depending on context, impact, severity, urgency, and available operating resources, Gamine may request corrections, adjust labels, limit visibility, remove content, warn users, suspend accounts, or take additional action. A personal response or a particular result cannot be guaranteed for every report.

The operator may change, add, suspend, limit, or end all or part of the service. Maintenance, incidents, security needs, provider changes, legal requests, abuse, overload, or difficulty sustaining operation may require action without advance notice.

External links, stores, distribution sites, communities, and authentication providers apply their own terms. Gamine is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, files, transactions, outages, or damages.

To the extent permitted by law, Gamine is provided as is, without guarantees of accuracy, completeness, usefulness, safety, continuity, fitness for a particular purpose, error-free operation, permanent storage, or recovery. Liability limitations apply only to the extent allowed by applicable law.

Public profile data is removed or made private after account deletion. Depending on feature relationships and moderation needs, posts, reviews, comments, recruitment, applications, progress, images, and links may be deleted, hidden, or anonymized.

Reports, moderation and suspension history, abuse prevention, rights or legal records, security incidents, inquiry history, logs, and information needed to preserve other users’ records may be retained for those purposes. Deleted data may temporarily remain in caches or provider backups.

Gamine will make reasonable preservation efforts, but does not promise backup frequency, retention periods, permanent storage, point-in-time recovery, or restoration of individual data. Keep your own originals of important text and images.

The Japanese Terms are governed by Japanese law. The district or summary court with jurisdiction over the operator’s location is the agreed court of first instance, except where consumer or other applicable law requires otherwise.
